Those and goals of the Christian Education committee through “VBS” is to provide an interesting, faith based activity for all of God’s children – from pre-school through adulthood. Please mark the first Sunday of each month, from 3-4pm, as a time to gather in Montgomery Hall for some time for learning, some time for fellowship, some time for activities, and maybe some time for snacks!

Join us as we brainstorm ways to remain connected to our members who have trouble coming to worship. We will also decorate Kleenex boxes for Pastor Laurel to deliver to some of these folks, as well as make a blanket to present to Lucas Fant (baby grandson of IPC’s Office Administrator) when is baptized here on February 23.

This Sunday morning we will assemble Hygiene Kits for Presbyterian Disaster Assistance. Their supply has been severely depleted in the wake of the California wildfires. You are invited to provide aid through supplying items needed, and by joining us this afternoon to assemble the kits. There are many items needed, please put them in the green basket in the front of the Sanctuary. If you are unable to bring the items to IPC, please call the office 219-865-2686 to arrange a pick up time. We need these items no later than Sunday, February 23! Thank you!!
All items must be new and unused:
- Washcloth
- Toothbrush ( in original packaging)
- Fingernail or toenail clipper (in original packaging)
- Bath-size bar of soap (in original packaging)
- Travel-size stick deodorant (3.4 oz or less, non-aerosol, NEW only)
- Travel-size lotion (3.4 oz or less, fragrance-free, NEW only)
- Travel-size shampoo (3.4 oz or less, NEW only)
- Travel-size toothpaste (3.4 oz or less, expiration date of at least 1 year, NEW only)
- Sturdy wide-tooth comb (in original packaging; 6′ minimum teeth; pocket combs or picks are not accepted; rattail combs and combs without handles are acceptable)

This Sunday will find us on an Egg Hunt (it is the Sunday before Palm Sunday after all!), and creating a variety of window decor for our homes that are Easter themed. We will focus on symbols we see through Lent and Easter.
